The Park Road Books Book Club will be reading Mira Corpora by Jeff Jackson for their December meeting. It is a coming of age story for people who hate coming of age stories: a journey across a shifting, dreamlike landscape, featuring feral children, teenage oracles, mysterious cassette tapes, and a reclusive underground rockstar. Jackson will be joining the book club to discuss. Book club participants will receive 20% off the $16.00 price.

Join us on November 21st.The Park Road Books Foodie Book Club will be reading Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America by Gustavo Arellano as their book club book for November. When salsa overtook ketchup as this country's favorite condiment in the 1990s, America's century-long love affair with Mexican food reached yet another milestone. Now, Taco USA answers the all-important questions: What exactly constitutes Mexican food in the US? How did it get here? What's authentic, and what's Taco Bell, and does it matter? What's so cosmic about a burrito? And why do Americans love Mexican food so darn much? Book club participants will receive 20% off the $160 price.
